This capstone project entitled “Chef Lens: An Augmented Reality Based Recipe Menu” aims to provide a modern way of learning through augmented reality. It is a marker dependent augmented reality mobile application based from a student learning guide and food production recipe sheet used by CITHM students of Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas studying culinary programs. This mobile application can turn a printed marker into a 3D model that can be rotated and scaled to provide a detailed view of a dish and its ingredients. The main goal of this application is to minimize the difficulty encountered by culinary art students in food preparation by serving as an effective reference cooking material. Most students fail to get the desired results of their dish due to poor understanding of recipe itself and inferior cooking skills. It can give an interactive learning experience not only for students in the field of culinary arts but also for cooking enthusiasts who have a passion in cooking.
